As the Director of Fleet Maintenance, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining fleet assets statewide.

Responsibilities:
- Work Schedule: Monday -Friday Days in office, Available by phone for transportation emergencies, including off hours/ weekends
- Supervise 2-3 direct reports including: hiring, training, performance goals, and mentoring
- Oversee Vehicle Fleet
- Maintain records of repairs & regularly scheduled maintenance and substitute vehicles needing repairs/maintenance
- Collect & review mileage logs, Maintain I-Pass account & inventory, and assure insurance & vehicle registrations are current
- Oversee Training of Drivers
- Oversee safety training for all drivers, process safety reports & accidents, and investigate incidents
- Manage PACE driving program & certification for all drivers, including overseeing drug testing & physical exams for drivers
- Issue PINs & FOBs
- Communication to Other Departments & Affiliates
- Communication with other departments and affiliates, including but not limited to: Finance, Human Resources, Client Programming, outside agencies, governmental agencies, & third-parties
- Provide oversight & preparedness for all PACE, IDOT, RTA, and other applicable grants & surveys
- Lead regularly scheduled Regional compliance meetings
- Some travel required throughout state
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record per company requirements
- Ability to prioritize work in timely manner and problem solve
- Must be 21 years of age
