CTF Illinois is seeking a Director of Behavioral Health Clinic (LPHA) to lead the development and operation of a new community-based Behavioral Health program within our well-established nonprofit agency. This position reports to the Vice President of Behavioral Supports and offers the opportunity to build and shape a start-up program while benefiting from the stability and infrastructure of an established organization.
Salary
$70,000 – $80,000 annually
Schedule & Location
- Full-time, exempt
- Tinley Park, IL (community-based services)
- Some non-traditional hours, including occasional evenings
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA)
- Lead and oversee the development, growth, and daily operations of the Behavioral Health Clinic
- Complete IM-CANS assessments, treatment and recovery plans, and required clinical documentation
- Provide and oversee community-based mental health services, including:
- Individual and group therapy
- Crisis intervention
- Case management and community support
- Integrated assessment and treatment planning
- Ensure compliance with Illinois Rule 132 / HFS Rule 140, Medicaid, managed care, and agency policies
- Monitor service quality, documentation, enrollment, outcomes, and billing
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements
Qualifications
- Must meet qualifications for Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) within Rule 140. A physician, psychiatrist, psychologist, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), licensed clinical marriage and family therapist (LCMFT), or registered nurse with psychiatric specialty.
- Experience serving individuals with mental illness; dual diagnosis experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of community-based behavioral health services and Medicaid documentation requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the community
- Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team
