The Crisis Center for South Suburbia is thrilled to announce its annual gala, “Be the One – Color the World with Compassion”, taking place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Odyssey in Tinley Park. This year’s event raises critical support for survivors of domestic violence.

Be the One is more than a theme—it’s a powerful reminder that lasting change begins with you. This gala honors those who choose to stand with survivors, transforming compassion into action and generosity into hope.

 Presented by Exelon, this unforgettable evening will feature powerful survivors’ testimonials, a live and silent auction, a chance drawing, live entertainment and an inspiring program highlighting the profound impact of the Crisis Center's mission. All proceeds will benefit the Crisis Center’s lifesaving services, including housing, counseling, advocacy, outreach, education, and prevention programs for individuals and families affected by domestic violence.

The gala will also honor two extraordinary award winners who exemplify commitment to our mission and community:
•Dianne Masters Award: Cecelia McClellan and John Kahler
•Corporate Partner of the Year: Blackedge Capital
