Each year, the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® movement unites communities, companies, and individuals across the country in the fight to end breast cancer. For more than two decades, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has helped to fund breakthrough research, 24/7 support for people facing breast cancer, and access to lifesaving screenings. We know the future can be free from breast cancer, and we are committed to funding that future. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of South Suburban is an inspirational, non-competitive 2.2 mile walk that unites us in the fight to end breast cancer. The focus is to raise awareness and funds to support the American Cancer Society to save more lives from breast cancer. We want to celebrate and provide hope to those who have been touched by breast cancer. On-site registration begins at 7:30am and the Walk will kick off at 9:00am. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are available by calling Michelle Pruitt (ACS Sr. Development Manager) at 708-384-2807 or email SouthSuburbanILStrides@cancer.org Register your team, as a survivor or individual at www.makingstrideswalk.org/southsuburbanil.
